It's FLASHBACK FRIDAY! - Part 3 of 4 in the Clarktor Series: After World War II, most Clarktors were left behind in Britain and the surrounding allied countries by the U.S. military due to post-war realities. Although some Clarktors were re-purposed for work in the private sector, others were simply abandoned and picked of their valuable parts. This photo shows one of those unfortunate units. Interestingly, the availability of so many Clarktors and other trucks across Europe and Asia after the war helped establish the CLARK brand globally. Categories |
