Clark holds Sales & Service School21 February 2013
Clark Forklift Sales & Service Training School was successfully held in Bangkok, Thailand from 19th-21st Feb, 2013. More than 30 trainees from the sales, service, parts, and training center of Italthai Group, the authorized dealer of Clark in Thailand, joined the three-day training. The intensive training was delivered by Kenny Gong, General Manager Asia and Anthony Katselas, Product Support Manager of Clark International South Pacific Pty Ltd (CISP) coming from Sydney Australia. Italthai is the recently appointed Clark sole dealer in Thailand. Established in 1955, it became a leading heavy machinery company with nationwide sales & services network in Thailand supporting Clark products. It formally launched Clark forklifts to the market in the beginning of 2013 with a big investment in the manpower and capital. “We are cleaning up the Workshop Building No. 4 for dedicating on Clark forklift trucks service and warehouse. The new show room will also be finished very soon to display Clark machines indoor.” Mr. Udomsak, Vice President of Service Operation of Italthai said excitedly. The three-day training school covers the Clark history, company values, forklift market, product features and benefits, service information, and hands on operations. “The market competition in Thailand is fierce but we are confident to reach the aggressive sales target this year. The training gives the team more confidence now.” Mr. Somkieat, Senior Sales Manager of Italthai said after the training. Thailand is the biggest market for forklift trucks in Southeast Asia. It is the strategic priority of Clark in developing the market and supporting the local dealer. Clark International South Pacific Pty Ltd, located in Sydney Australia, is an affiliate of the global Clark Group. Clark Forklifts have been in production since 1917, with over 1 million units produced globally.
