Multico appointed Clark dealer for Singapore, Malaysia & Cambodia1 August 2012 
August 2012: Multico Appointed Clark Forklifts dealer for Singapore, Malaysia & Cambodia Clark International South Pacific (CISP) Pty Ltd has appointed Multico Group as the dealer in Singapore, Malaysia, and Cambodia for the sales and service of Clark material handling equipment. The dealer agreements were signed by both companies in the mid 2012.
Singapore and Malaysia are two of the biggest markets for forklift trucks in South-East Asia while Singapore is also a major business hub to its surrounding countries. Although the market size of Cambodia is relatively not big, it grows fast with the strong foreign investment these years. “The partnership between Clark and Multico enhances the market position of Clark in the region and it also helps Multico to serve the customers better with its extended product portfolio. This is a solid strategic step taken by both companies for a long term commitment.” Kenny Gong, the General Manager Asia of CISP said.
Multico Group with its head office in Singapore was established in 1973 and is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. It is a leading distributor of heavy equipment and parts in the region serving the industries of construction, agriculture, material handling, industrial, oil & gas, etc. with the presence in ten countries.
Clark International South Pacific Pty Ltd, located in Sydney Australia, is an affiliate of the global Clark Group. Clark Forklifts have been in production since 1917, with over 1 million units produced globally.
